18 Oct

The winners of the SfN 2012 Brain Awareness Video Contest have been announced!

The Carrot, a short by Ariana R Andrei, Anastasia (Stacy) Eriksson and Marcello Mulas won first place, and we have it featured for you here!

Stacy and a bunch of sock puppets demonstrate how the brain works in just under 5 minutes.

Check out the other winners here (2nd and 3rd place, and the people’s choice winner).

If you want a chance to win some cash prizes or a trip to the SfN Annual Neuroscience Meeting 2013 in San Diego, then get your thinking cap on and create a short educational video about the brain for next year’s competition!

You can find more details about the competition and how to enter here.
